Recent Work

In late 2000 Brik-Art completed a large faux stone project for a senior residential complex in Covina. An extensive amount of cast stone was used both inside and out, mostly as columns, pilasters (common to inside, along the main corridor, and outside, forming columns at the porte-cochere) and in other appropriately typical elements, such as chimneys, fireplace facings, walls, wainscote, monument sign, and such. The architects did a good job in creating ambiance with bringing the outdoors "in," as the glass door entry/store front allows transparancy, allowing stone on both sides to be simultaneously in view.

Brik-Art was the subcontractor for the masonry in this commercial interior renovation for a business in Glendale, California. The brick mix was chosen to match the exterior brick facade; the columns creating the storefront windows "carry through" the glass visually.
